Educação de Elite: Governo de Minas Entrega Maior Sede do Colégio Tiradentes do Interior em Uberlândia
Com investimento de R$ 40,7 milhões, nova unidade tem capacidade para 1,5 mil alunos e conta com laboratórios modernos, sala sensorial e infraestrutura completa.

UBERBALÂNDIA – O Triângulo Mineiro celebrou, neste sábado (07/02), um avanço histórico para a rede pública de ensino. O vice-governador Mateus Simões entregou oficialmente a sede própria do Colégio Tiradentes da Polícia Militar (CTPM) em Uberlândia. O complexo escolar, que agora é a maior unidade da instituição no interior do estado, encerra um ciclo de dez anos de prédios alugados e oferece uma estrutura de primeiro mundo para estudantes do ensino fundamental e médio.
Investimento e Estrutura de Ponta
A obra, orçada em exatos R$ 40.781.311,19, foi viabilizada por meio de uma parceria entre a Secretaria de Estado de Educação (SEE/MG) e a Polícia Militar (PMMG). Localizada no bairro Jardim Europa, a nova sede foi projetada para oferecer o que há de mais moderno em recursos pedagógicos. Entre os destaques da estrutura estão:
- Capacidade ampliada: Atendimento de até 1,5 mil alunos (do 1º ano fundamental ao 3º ano médio);
- Ciência e Tecnologia: Laboratórios completos de Química, Física, Biologia e Informática;
- Inclusão e Desenvolvimento: Sala sensorial para alunos com necessidades específicas e brinquedoteca.
O vice-governador Mateus Simões destacou que o prédio é uma ferramenta de transformação: “Fico feliz de ver como estamos conseguindo inaugurar estruturas que vão mudar a vida de meninos e meninas por meio de uma educação de qualidade”.
De 400 a 1.500 Alunos: Uma Década de Crescimento
O CTPM de Uberlândia iniciou suas atividades em 2015 com apenas 400 alunos. Ao longo dos anos, a demanda cresceu e a escola precisou ocupar diferentes endereços temporários. Para o comandante-geral da PMMG, coronel Carlos Frederico Otoni Garcia, a sede própria representa um “novo lar” definitivo, garantindo estabilidade e orgulho para a comunidade escolar.
O secretário de Educação, Rossieli Soares, reforçou que o foco é o talento dos jovens: “Queremos construir boas estruturas para formar alunos que serão o futuro do nosso estado”.
Referência em Minas Gerais
O Colégio Tiradentes é reconhecido por sua proposta pedagógica pautada em valores, disciplina e excelência acadêmica. Atualmente, o sistema conta com 30 unidades e cerca de 24 mil alunos em Minas. Desde 2021, o governo já injetou mais de R$ 343 milhões na rede, com previsão de chegar a R$ 453 milhões até o próximo ano em melhorias e infraestrutura.
Reflexão
Investir em escolas militares é investir em uma formação que une o rigor acadêmico aos princípios de cidadania. Quando uma cidade como Uberlândia recebe uma sede desse porte, toda a região ganha profissionais e cidadãos mais bem preparados para os desafios do futuro.
